October 31, 1983 Mercy Medical Clinic Carriers Building (Skywalk Clinic) opens in downtown
      Des Moines.

February 13, 1984 Mercy-Indianola Medical Clinic opens in the Westroads Shopping
      Center at 1809 W. 2nd.      
             
May 1, 1984 Mercy-Hilltop Medical Clinic opens at 2609 E. Twenty-Ninth Street.
             
June 18, 1984 A satellite office of the Indianola Clinic opens in Lacona.  
             
December 3, 1984 The Mercy-Sandhouse Medical Clinic opens in Madrid.

April 1, 1985 The Mercy-Ankeny Medical Clinic opens at 2001 West 1st.  
             
May 5, 1985 The Mercy Pediatric Clinic opens in the Mercy Medical Plaza.

July 1, 1986 The Mercy Arthritis Center opens.

May 15, 1989 Mercy-Clark Street Medical Clinic opens at the House of Mercy.
             
August, 1989 The Mercy-Iowa Occupational Medicine Clinic opens in the Mercy Medical
      Plaza East.        
October, 1989 Mercy Sandhouse Clinic closes.      
1990              
May, 1990 The Mercy-DMMG Fleur Drive Medical Clinic opens as an affiliate.
             
July, 1990 Mercy West Diagnostic Clinic opens.    
             
August, 1990 Mercy Physiatry Clinic opens.      
             
September, 1990 The Mercy Valley West Medical Clinic and Mercy Arthritis Center move to
      the Mercy West Medical Center.  The Valley West Clinic changes its
      name to Mercy West Medical Clinic and adds Urgent Care facilities.
             
September, 1990 Mercy West Pediatric Clinic opens at Mercy West Medical Center.
             
September, 1990 Mercy Physical and Occupational Therapy Clinic opens at Mercy West
      Medical Center.        
             
September, 1990 Mercy West Diagnostic Clinic moves to Mercy West Medical Center.

July, 1991 Mercy Indianola Medical Clinic moves to 108 North Jefferson.

September, 1993 Mercy Physiatry Clinic closes.

December, 1993 Mercy Psychological Services closes.    
1994              
January, 1994 Mercy Health and Human Services become Mercy Clinics, Inc.
             
April, 1994 Mercy Psychiatric Services of Central Iowa opens at 1818 Franklin.
             
June 20, 1994 The emergency department at the Mercy Franklin Center is converted
      into the Mercy Franklin Medical Clinic.    
             
March 1, 1994 The Campus Medical Clinic officially joines MCI and is located in the 
      Mercy Medical Plaza.      
             
August, 1994 Mercy Norwalk Medical Clinic, Mercy Park Medical Clinic and Mercy
      Pleasant Hill Clinic opens.      
             
August, 1994 Affiliation ends with Mercy-DMMG Fleur Drive Medical Clinic.
1995              
July, 1995 Mercy Ruan Neurology Clinic opens.    
             
November, 1995 Mercy Arthritis Center changes it's name to Mercy Arthritis and 
      Osteoporosis Center.      
1996              
January 1, 1996 Mercy Surgical Affiliates opens.      
             
March 1, 1996 Mercy Franklin Medical Clinic moves to 1750 48th Street, Suite 1.
             
March 8, 1996 Mercy Psychiatric Services of Central Iowa moves to 1750 48th Street,
      Suite 2          
             
August 5, 1996 Mercy East Pediatric Clinic opens.      
             
July, 1996 Mercy Clark Street Clinic transfers to the House of Mercy.  
             
December, 1996 Mercy Iowa Occupational Medicine Clinic closes and a joint venture
      is formed between MCI and Concentra Medical Clinics in Des Moines.
1997              
January, 1997 Mercy Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic opens at 1200 Valley West Drive in
      West Des Moines.        
             
July, 1997 Mercy Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic moves to the Mercy West Medical
      Center.          
             
September, 1997 Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is added to Mercy Psychiatric Services.
             
September 2, 1997 Mercy Central Internal Medicine Clinic opens.    
             
October, 1997 Mercy Physical Therapy and Occupational Clinic transfers to the Hospital.
             
October, 1997 The Centralized Billing Office is formed which relocates the clinics' billing
     staff into one location at 1055 6th Avenue.    
1999              
April, 1999 Mercy Park Medical Clinic moves to 6601 SW Ninth Street and changes it's
      name to Mercy South Medical Clinic.    
             
April, 1999 Mercy Clinics Geriatric Services opens at the Mercy South Medical Clinic.
August, 1999 Mercy Indianola Medical Clinic expands to a second location at 
      112 E. Detroit.        
             
October, 1999 Mercy Psych East is opened next to the Mercy Hilltop Medical Clinic
      as a satellite clinic of Mercy Psychiatric Services.    
               
November 1, 1999 Mercy Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center moves to 8421 Plum Drive,  
      Des Moines from 1601 NW 114th Street, Suite 151, Clive.  
2000                
January 1, 2000 Mercy Franklin Medical Clinic changes its name to Mercy Beaverdale  
      Medical Clinic.          
               
March, 2000 Mercy West Radiology affiliation is transferred to Mercy Medical Center.
               
March, 2000 Mercy Surgical Affiliates Breast Clinic moves to Mercy West and changes
     it's name to the Frederick & Ann Katzmann Breast Center.  
               
July, 2000 Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is closed at Mercy Psychiatric Services.
               
July 10, 2000 Mercy Johnston Medical Clinic opens.      
               
August, 2000 Mercy Ruan Neurology Clinic moves from 1111 6th Avenue, 5W, to  
     1111 6th Avenue, West Building, Suite 400.      
2001                
January, 2001 Mercy South Medical Clinic adds Urgent Care.      
               
January, 2001 Mercy Clinic Administration from the Hospital and the MOP building merge
     and move to 207 Crocker Street, Suite 200, Des Moines  50309.  
               
January, 2001 Mercy Psychiatric Services East closes and the practice moves back  
     to main location.          
               
July 1, 2001 Mercy Clinics Geriatric Services moves to 411 Laurel Street, Suite A370.
               
July, 2001 Virtual Private Practice is implemented in all the Mercy Clinics.  
               
October, 2001 Iowa Hernia Center at Mercy Surgical Affiliates opens.    
               
December 31, 2001 MCI ends joint venture relationship with Concentra.    
2002                
February, 2002 Mercy Johnston Pediatric Clinic opens.      
               
April 1, 2002 Mercy Capitol Internal Medicine Clinic opens at 717 Lyon Street, Suite E.
               
August 1, 2002 Family Medicine of Urbandale Mercy Clinic and Mercy Clinics Urbandale
      Physical Therapy opens.        
               
September 1, 2002 Mercy Ruan Neurology Clinic West opens at 1601 NW 114th Street,

2003                
April 1, 2003 Mercy Center for Weight Reduction (Bariatric Surgery) opens at  
     Mercy Capitol with Mercy Surgical Affiliates doctors.    
               
June 30, 2003 The Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center at Lakeview opens at 6000  
     University Avenue, Suite 174, West Des Moines  50266.    
               
June 30, 2003 Mercy Norwalk Medical Clinic closes.      
               
June 30, 2003 Mercy Surgical Affiliates - Carroll location is discontinued.    
               
July, 2003 Mercy Capitol Internal Medicine Clinic moves to its new location of  
      1300 East Des Moines Street, Suite 201      
               
July 1, 2003 Urbandale Physical Therapy joins Mercy Clinics and becomes  
     Mercy Clinics Urbandale Physical Therapy.      
               
August 1, 2003 Internal Medicine is added to the Family Medicine of Urbandale Clinic.  
               
September 1, 2003 Mercy West Diagnostic Clinic changes its name to Mercy West Internal
      Medicine Clinic.          
               
September, 2003 Mercy Clinics celebrates their 20th Anniversary    
               
November 6, 2003 New Physician Reception is held at the Top of the Tower at the   
      Downtwon Holiday Inn        
               
November, 2003 Announcement is made that Mercy East will be built.    
               
December, 2003 Mercy Clinics receives recognition from the Diabetes Physician  
     Recognition Program for providing quality care to their patients with  
     diabetes which is valid for three years.  This recognition is  
     co-sponsored by the National Committee for Quality Assurance  
     (NCQA) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA).    
               
December 31, 2003 East Des Moines Clinic joins MCI and becomes Mercy Capitol East  
      Des Moines Clinic.          
2004                
January, 2004 Mercy Clinics, Mercy Hospital and the Des Moines Register start the "Red
      Flag" joint project to make patients aware of the signs and symptoms of
      cancer.  The campaign focused on prostate, skin, breast, cervical and
      colon cancer.  Several of the MCI clinics will hold free health screenings
      throughout the year.          
               
January 1, 2004 Drs. Leatrice Olson and Darrel Devick discontinue their office hours at
      the Sandhouse Clinic in Madrid.        
February 23, 2004 Mercy Central Pediatric Clinic moves from 411 Laurel Street, Suite A310
     to their new clinic at 330 Laurel Street, Suite 2100.    
               
April, 2004 Mercy Clinics receives recognition from the Medical Group Management
     Association (MGMA) as a better performing organization in two areas:
     (1) Productivity, Capacity and Staffing        
     (2) Profitability and Cost Management      
               
April, 2004 Mercy Clinics Geriatric Services moves from 411 Laurel Street, Suite A370
     to Mercy Capitol at 603 E. 12th Street, Suite 284, Des Moines  50309.
               
April 12, 2004 A groundbreaking ceremony is held to celebrate the start of construction
     on the Mercy East project.  Mercy East will be the new location for the
     family practice physicians from Mercy Hilltop Medical Clinic and Mercy
     Pleasant Hill Medical Clinic.          
               
  Mercy East Pediatric Clinic will also move to the new East facility.  
               
July 1, 2004 Mercy Psychiatric Services leaves Mercy Clinics, Inc. and joines Mercy  
     Professional Practice Association (MPPA).      
               
October 12, 2004 A New Physician Reception is held at the Des Moines Golf & Country Club.
               
November, 2004 The Red Flag campaign ends.        
               
November 29, 2004 Des Moines Family Care Associates at 717 Lyon Street and Colfax Family
     Care Associates at 19 East Howard Street, Colfax, Iowa, join Mercy  
     Clinics and become Mercy East Village Family Practice and Mercy  
     Colfax Family Practice Clinic, respectively.      
               
December 6, 2004 Mercy East Family Practice & Urgent Care and Mercy East Pediatric Clinic
     open at their new Pleasant Hill locations of 5900 E. University Avenue,
     Suite 200, and 5900 E. University Avenue, Suite 300, respectively.  
2005                
January 1, 2005 The physical therapy department (located in the Mercy Indianola Jefferson
     Medical Clinic) joins Mercy Clinics, Inc. and becomes Mercy Indianola
     Physical Therapy.  Their address is 108 N. Jefferson, Indianola.  
               
January 1, 2005 Mercy Sports Medicine/Mercy Physical Therapy join Mercy Clinics, Inc.  
     Their new name is Mercy South Physical Therapy and is located at  
     3310 SW 9th Street, Des Moines.      
               
January 1, 2005 Mercy West Rehab joines Mercy Clinics, Inc. and become Mercy West  
     Physical Therapy.  Their address is 1601 NW 114th Street, Suite 155,
     Clive.            
               
January 17, 2005 Mercy Ankeny Medical Clinic changes its name to Mercy North Family  
     Practice & Urgent Care and moves from 220 W. First Street to the  
     new Mercy North facility at 800 East First Street, Suite 1700.  
               
  Mercy North Pediatric Clinic opens at 800 E. First Street, Suite 1600.  
               
  Mercy North Physical Therapy opens at 800 E. First Street, Suite 1200.  
               
March 18, 2005 Mercy Campus Medical Clinic moves from 411 Laurel Street, Suite 1360 to
     411 Laurel Street, Suite A120.        
               
June 9, 2005 Mercy Clinics begins plastic and reconstructive surgery at Mercy Surgical
     Affiliates at 411 Laurel Street, Suite 2100, Des Moines  50314.  
               
September 1, 2005 Mercy East Village Family Practice Clinic moves to their new location at
     1300 Des Moines Street, Suite 204, Des Moines  50309.    
               
September 20, 2005 The New Physician Reception is held at the Des Moines Golf & Country
     Club.            
2006                
January 23, 2006 Mercy Plastic Surgery moves to the Mercy Johnston Medical Clinic building
     at 5615 NW 86th Street, Johnston.      
               
February, 2006 Mercy North Physical Therapy relocates to Suite W270 in the Mercy North
     Building.            
               
May 1, 2006 Mercy North Pediatric Clinic moves to Suite 1200 in the Mercy North facility.
               
May 15, 2006 Mercy Quick Care Clinic - Skywalk opens downtown in the Equitable  
     Building.  Their address is 604 Locust Street, Suite 210, Des Moines

July 3, 2006 Mercy Clinics Geriatric Services expands to two clinics.  Mercy Long Term
     Care Services is the new name of the second clinic.  Their addresses are:

August 28, 2006 Mercy Ruan Neurology Clinics, Central & West, merge their clinics and
     relocate to Mercy Hospital's new East Tower addition.  Their address is
     1111 6th Avenue, East Tower, Suite A100, Des Moines  50314.  
               
September, 2006 Mercy Central Internal Medicine physicians split their clinic to  
     support the growth in the hospitalist program.  Half of the doctors will
     remain at the Mercy Central Internal Medicine Clinic and will continue
     seeing patients in the office.  The other half of the doctors have formed
     Mercy Hospitalists and will exclusively only see patients in the hospital
     on a 24 hour basis.  The Hospitalists address is 1111 6th Avenue, 4 South.
               
December 4, 2006 Mercy Jordan Creek Pediatric Clinic opens at 1055 Jordan Creek Parkway,
     Suite 102, West Des Moines  50266.      
               
December 11, 2006 Mercy Jordan Creek Internal Medicine Clinic opens at 1055 Jordan Creek
     Parkway, Suite 100, West Des Moines  50266.    
               
December, 2006 Mercy Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center completes the expansion of their 
     building to accommodate the increasing demands for services.  The
     Center is now one of the largest single office groups in the nation.  
2007                
April 2, 2007 Mercy Clinics and Dahl's Food Stores start a joint venture together to start
     Mercy Quick Care Clinics in the Des Moines area Dahl's.  The clinics are
     located at:

      - 15500 Hickman Road, Clive  50325      
      - 4343 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines  50310      
               
July 1, 2007 Panora Medical Clinic joins MCI and becomes Mercy Panora Medical Clinic.
      On July 16, the clinic moves from 803 E. Main to the newly built clinic
      at 319 East Main.          
2008                
January 1, 2008 VanOort Medical Clinic at 302 SW Walnut Street, Ankeny joins Mercy  
      Clinics and becomes VanOort Medical Clinic, A Mercy Clinic.  
               
March 31, 2008 Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery moves from their Johnston location to
      411 Laurel Street, Suite 2250, Des Moines.      

           September 2008          Mercy Clinics receives the American Medical Group Association Acclaim Award
